Violin
After studies in Antwerp, Brussels and Cologne, Veronique De Raedemaeker currently lives in Cologne, where she is completing the Konzertexamen degree. Fascinated by contemporary music and with a great love for chamber music, she co - founded the ÉRMA Ensemble and Gilu. Her CD 'Malinconia', generously supported by YBT, was awarded the label 'Choice of Klara' by the Flemish Classical Radio in 2020.
She is a prize winner of several national and international violin competitions and enjoys performing as a soloist. Since 2017 she plays a violin by Stefan-Peter Greiner (Bonn 2005), kindly loaned by Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Köln e.V.. She is thankfully a scholarship holder of the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation, which selected her as part of "Best of NRW". Veronique is Artist in Residence of the vzw SWUK from 2022-2023.
